That 442 must have had some work done to it. Even the 455 was kinda neutered by 1972.

this is all part of the pure stock class, all of these cars have little things done to it. The cars LOOK stock, but they can still have punched out engines and very very mild cams. Some guys even go as far as porting the exhaust manifolds, because headers aren't allowed.

absolutely, some of these guys are going 11's and faster on bias ply polyglass tires. Meanwhile I can't hook on my 265/50 nittos!
